1993	Probate Court named Raymond S. Andrews, Jr. as Individual Trustee
1995	Clinical and Community Health Issues program started Policy Advisory Committee established
1996	Trustees commissioned a brief family history to aid public understanding of the source of the Foundation and of its benefactor, Ethel Donaghue
1997	Donaghue Investigator Award established
1998	First Practical Benefit Initiative projects funded. Sheilah B. Rostow named representative for Institutional Trustee Fleet Bank
1999	Foundation’s assets reached high point of $90 million
2001	Presentations by investigators featured at annual meeting for the first time
2002	Five-year spending plan developed
2003	Total amount of grants funded since the start of the Foundation exceeds the original value of Ethel Donaghue’s gift
2006	Foundation issues RFP to study the role of leadership in promoting patient safety to hospitals in 6 New England states. Foundation introduces “Knowledge Uptake” concept for realizing practical benefit
2007	Raymond S. Andrews, Jr. retires as Individual Trustee and selects Lynne Garner, PhD, as his successor
2008	The Donaghue Research Leadership Program established
2009	Sheilah B. Rostow retires as representative for Institutional Trustee of Bank of America and selects Amy L. Lynch as her successor. Donaghue Foundation partners with the Mayday Fund for the Program for Research Leadership.
