Conference 2010
Dan Ariely
Behavioral Economist, Duke University and MIT author of Predictably Irrational and The Upside of Irrationality talks about pigeons, rats and self control.

This conference was held on April 21, 2010 at the Hartford Marriott Farmington, Farmington, CT.

The expectation that we take personal responsibility for our health has become a truism. So why, when we often know what to do, is it still so hard to put this knowledge into practice? The talks by Dan Ariely and Val Curtis and the discussion moderated by Julio Urbina that followed, took a provocative look at the economic, behavioral and cultural factors which influence our health behaviors and decisions and offered examples that we can put to use to improve our own health and the health of our communities.
