To honor Ray Andrews’ stewardship of the Donaghue Foundation from 1993 through 2007, the Trustees have established an annual lecture series in his name that will focus on the voice of the patient. This lecture series gives expression to the patient’s experience from a variety of perspectives, such as an individual’s perception of illness, a person’s view of him or herself as a patient, or his or her interaction with family and health care practitioners, the health care system and broader society.
