Harlan M. Krumholz, MD, SM initiated and chairs the steering committee of D2B: An Alliance for Quality, an international campaign by the American College of Cardiology to implement strategies to improve outcomes by decreasing hospital door-to-balloon-times. Harlan is the Harold H. Hines, Jr. Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology and Public Health at Yale School of Medicine, where he directs the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program. He also directs Yale-New Haven Hospital Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE).
