Grant Programs
The Donaghue Foundation conducts several program and initiatives in support of Connecticut-focused research.
Clinical and Community Health Issues program is an investigator-initiated, project-based award of up to $240,000 over two or three years. Applications are invited based upon the submission of a two-page letter of intent. Letters of intent are reviewed six times a year, and the application deadlines are in January and September of each year.
The Donaghue Research Leadership Program is a team-based award that supports research that has the potential for making a direct, near term impact on improving public health, clinical practice, or community health interventions; related knowledge uptake activities; and activities to creating a learning environment among the team. Awards will be for $200,000 a year for four years. Application materials will be available in February.
Practical Benefit Initiative is a Foundation-initiated award program. If you or your organization has a project idea that is aimed at a productive way to deliver practical benefit to the public through health research, please submit a short summary letter to the Executive Director at the Donaghue Foundation.
Donaghue Investigator is no longer accepting applications or awarding new grants.
